Haystack

About

Why Haystack exists

Buyers have started asking AI engines the questions they used to type into Google. "Best tool for X." "Alternatives to Y." "X versus Z." ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini answer with a short list of products and a handful of cited sources. If your company is not in those sources, you are not in the answer, and you never find out which deals you lost before they started.

Most tools in this space stop at telling you that you are missing. They monitor, they chart, they score you against competitors, and then they hand the actual work back to you. Haystack was built to carry that work to the end: find the buyer prompts you are losing, show the exact sources the AI cites to recommend a competitor, draft the earned-media pitches that put you into those sources, and then prove when a placement produces a new citation. Visibility gap to placement to citation, with the proof attached.

Who writes these guides

Haystack is built by Zaki Hasan, its founder. The guides here are written from the same research that powers the product: real comparisons of the AI visibility tools on the market, what each is genuinely good at, and where the category as a whole still leaves companies stuck. The goal is to be the most honest reference on getting cited in AI search, even when the honest answer is "a competitor's tool fits you better."

See it on your own domain

The fastest way to understand what Haystack does is to run a free audit on your own site. You will see the buyer prompts where AI recommends a competitor instead of you, no sales call required. Or read the guides to compare the tools first.
