Haystack connects through Webflow's official OAuth. You click Connect Webflow, approve access on Webflow's own screen, and you are done. There is no API key to copy and no code to add to your site.
What can Haystack access in my Webflow account?
Only what it needs to publish: read access to your sites so it can find the right one, and read and write access to your CMS so it can add and update pages. It cannot touch your billing, your users, or your site settings.
Does it publish pages automatically?
Only if you let it. By default every page waits for your approval before it goes live. Once you trust the work you can turn on autopilot for content, and you can switch back to approvals whenever you want.
What does Haystack actually publish to Webflow?
It publishes CMS items, so your new pages use the same collection, templates, and styling as the rest of your site. They look native because they are native Webflow content.
